What we collect, why we collect it, how to get it removed.

last updated: 2026-05-15

Plain-English summary

Bytevion is in private beta. This page is the working draft of our privacy policy. The signed PDF version is available on request for enterprise procurement reviews. The substance below is accurate; the legal phrasing will firm up before public launch.

What we collect

  • Account data. Email, name, and the organization you are part of.
  • Operational telemetry. Request counts, latency, BCU usage, cache hit rate, model selection decisions, and route reasons. Used for billing, dashboards, and product quality.
  • Prompt and response payloads. Off by default. On, only when you explicitly enable telemetry retention for shadow runs or eval sampling. Retention is bounded by your plan (7, 30, 90 days, or custom).

What we do not collect

  • Provider API keys are never logged.
  • End-user PII from your prompts unless you turn on payload retention.
  • No third-party trackers or advertising pixels on this site or the app.

Where data lives

Default region is the US (AWS us-east-1). Enterprise customers can request EU or APAC residency. Private deployment runs inside your VPC with caches and logs you control.

Deletion and export

Email namaste@bytevion.com with your account ID. Telemetry and account data export within 14 days. Hard deletion within 30 days. We will respond to confirm the request the same business day.
